Bonding is an option for a chipped or cracked tooth: composite bonding is a process by which an enamel-like material is applied to a tooth’s surface, sculpted into shape, hardened with a UV light, and then polished for a natural finish. It is a totally non-invasive technique.
Bonding is suitable in many circumstances to correct broken or misshapen teeth or to close gaps between teeth, but may not be as spectacular as veneers in addressing more complex cosmetic needs.
